To enjoy your York Aromatics candle at its finest:

  • Trim the wick. Before each burn, trim the wick to around 5 mm to ensure a clean, even flame.
  • First burn matters. Allow the wax to melt fully to the edge on the first burn to encourage an even pool and prevent tunnelling.
  • Burn time. Burn for 1 to 2 hours at a time to preserve fragrance quality and candle life.
  • Clear the surface. Keep the wax free of wick trimmings, matches and any debris.

  • Let it rest. Allow the vessel to cool completely before relighting or moving.
  • Mind the last burn. Discontinue use when 10 mm of wax remains to protect the vessel.
